The principle goal of the band program is to make music while teaching the skills that are necessary to be successful in life. Most important is the appreciation of the aesthetic values that only music can achieve. Music can sharpen the mind of the student, helping them achieve success in the classroom and outside of the classroom. It is the responsibility of all of us to see that music education survives in America.
