My name is Susan Mitchell and I love teaching! I have taught at Pine Tree for 24 years. I began my career teaching kindergarten, moved to 2nd grade, and then became a reading interventionist. I am thrilled to be back where I started with the little ones. There is nothing as exciting as watching a child gain confidence as they learn! I am privileged to have the opportunity to spend time with you child each day and give them the experiences they need to become lifelong learners.
My Family
My husband, Mark, and I have been married for 23 wonderful years and have 2 children, Luke and Abby. Abby is a junior and her passion is playing basketball for the Lady Pirates! Luke is a freshman and he is on the PT golf team. Our family loves to spend as much time together as possible and we are blessed to have a large extended family as well!
