Science is a TAKS tested subject in fifth grade. We at Pine Tree are going to do
everything we can to prepare your child for the test. It is important for you also be involved in this process. At home work with your child on vocabulary words found in your child's science folders. A continual review is much better than a last minute rush to learn the terms. During the first six weeks, we will begin with Earth Science. We will continue our Earth Science unit during the second six weeks, and then begin Physical and Life Science.
