Math homework is given out on Mondays. This consist of Minute Math and Moose Math and is due on Thursday. Nightly math facts are also given and due the following day.

A reading passage will be snet home each Monday, which is due on Thursday. Your child is expected to use the TURN-UP strategy on all reading assignments. Your child should be reading everynight and AR testing each day. Please encourage your child to read all picture books at least two times before testing. Your child must also maintain an 80% average and reach their 6 weeks goal.

Spelling list are given on Mondays. Students are expected to write their words each night and not to work ahead (unless given special instructions).

Also ask your child about his/her vocabulary that they are learning about in class. This should be brought home on Thursdays to study. They have discussed and had many activities with the vocabulary.
