Each week in our classroom , we will be learning a new letter and its sound. It is imporant that your child be able to identify the upper and lowercase letter and also identify the sound that the letter makes. Your child will become a better reader, if he or she can recognize the letters and put the sounds together to form words. Please practice and review the letters and sounds at home each day with your child. Please let me know if you need activities or suggestions when working with letters at home.
We will begin the letter of the week on August 21 and we will be studying the letter Aa. As we are learning the letters, each letter will be intoduced in alphabetical order. |
