Pine Tree High School Theatre was celebrating at the recent UIL One Act Play ~ 4A Regional competition held on Thursday, April 12, 2007. The One Act Company, performing, The Angelina Project, has earned the opportunity to compete in the State One Act Competition to be held May 3-5, held in the Bass Performance Hall on the UT campus in Austin, Texas.

Angelina Napolitano, played by Emily Johnson, is a 28 year old Italian mother of four. She kills her husband, played by Sye Estess, with an axe as he lay asleep in their bedroom.

The play revolves around four generations of women who must come to terms with the violence which has shaped them.
