The Pine Tree Theater Booster Club is busy this year helping ensure that the tradition of excellence in Pine Tree High School theater continues.

There are no dues to become a member of Theater Boosters. For more information on membership, click the membership icon at the top left.

Season tickets are still being sold. Tickets are $35 each and include unlimited admission to this year's musical, Kiss Me Kate, one dinner theater ticket (dinner and O.Henry's Christmas: Gift of the Magi), the public performance of One Act, and Drama Night/Senior Directs. You can mail your check payable to Pine Tree Theater Boosters to Debbie Garrett, 1411 Lazy Lane, Longview, Texas 75604. Please indicate the name you would like on the Season Pass and the address where you would like the pass mailed. Parents and other PTHS theater supporters, this is a great value for you if you plan to attend even two musicals productions. Musical tickets are $10 for each performance. There are six musical performance dates. Season tickets allow the theater department to have some upfront money to pay for musical expenses, while allowing parents an opportunity to get a financial break on tickets.

Pine Tree Theater Boosters will hold its next meeting for the 2008-2009 school year at 7 p.m. on October 14 in the Pine Tree High School Theater classroom next to the Pine Tree Theater.

Please encourage your student to sell ads for the Showbill. The deadline is Oct. 15th. Ad sale money can be turned in every Thursday.

A full page ad is $100, half page is $50 and a business card size ad is $30. With six performances, the Showbill could reach as many as 2700 people. If you are interesting in purchasing an ad or need more information, please contact Suzanne Walker at 903-452-1218.

Henry's Christmas: The Gift of the Magi on Saturday, December 20th at First Christian Church. This catered event will be an intimate theater experience. The Theater Booster cookout will be held October 31 at 7:30 p.m. after rehearsal at Clement and Terre Dunn's house, 1204 Secluded Lane. We will be serving hamburgers, chips and s'mores.

Parents, please note that this will take place in Wildwood on Halloween night. Please encourage your student to be extra careful when entering Wildwood. Large crowds of trick-or-treaters are expected. Carpooling or parent drop off and pick up is encouraged.
