My name is Tara Wilbanks. I am a married mom of four! My wonderful husband is John and we have been married for sixteen years. My four beautiful children are Brady who is a Junior at the high school, Kaylie is a 8th grader, Carter who is a 1st grader and Harper who is 3 years old. And I can't leave out our family pet- Snoopy, our little Westie !

I live in Longview but actually grew up in the Metroplex in Euless, Texas. I am a city girl at heart and love to go visit the Metroplex often! My family and I love to be on the go. We love taking trips, going to Texas Rangers games and to concerts! We love going to the movies and are always out shopping! I am sure we will run into you around town! We love to vacation at the beach in Destin, Florida and love to go swimming!

I love to read about history, my favorite color is blue, I love to paint and creating art. I love cooking! My favorite stores are Hobby Lobby, Catos, Kirklands, Target, Lowes and Micheals!!! I love to work in my yard and on my house. My favorite flowers are Gerber Daisies. My favorite holiday is Halloween and I love to dress up in costume with my kids!! I enjoy all kids of music - especially country,pop,rock,and classical!

Once you come into my classroom you will quickly notice I love all things polka-dotted and striped!!! I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler and I have a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Early Childhood Education. I have a Reading, EC-4, and Social Studies specializations. I taught first grade for the last five years and this will be my first year to teach third grade! I am very excited about moving up to a higher grade and seeing some of my past students from 1st!

I love teaching and especially love being around and with children everyday! I am so excited that your child is in my classroom and I can promise you that I will love and cherish them daily!
