I'm Wendy Carter. This is my third year teaching at PTHS and I am so ready for the new school year! I hope all of you are looking forward to learning the "ins & outs" of business and improving skills that will help you get employed, stay employed and even become a manager.

I believe in teaching you real world skills that I saw on a daily basis in the business world. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Administration and I've worked as a business analyst, manager, accountant and everything in between. :)

I am a co-sponsor of DECA and Interact and really want to encourage all of my students to Get Involved! I am also the UIL Computer Applications sponsor and plan to take at least one student to state again this year.

I am married to Jon Carter who is a teacher at Forest Park Magnet in Longview. We have 4 (!) daughters -- Summer, Belle, Ashly and Holly. We also have 3 dogs and 3 hermit crabs. :)
